  Error message 33

  Hi,

  got this problem: Shut dow After Effects, restarted, tried to open my last file and received this message ” Error 33

  scrimski,
  Here are a couple of questions and a (potentially futile) offer to help:

  1)what size is the last backup of the project?
  2)what size is the ‘missing data’ version of the project?

  If these two sizes are not drastically different (like: backup version = 1 meg, damaged version = 300k), I might be able to do some salvaging for you, if no one else wants to touch this. It sounds like your shedule is short. Mine is, too — I could look into it for you until tomorrow, when I’ll be slammed at work. Sorry if I caught this post rather late. If you haven’t already wrangled a solution, you will need to send me both the most recent backup and the ‘damaged’ file, in a folder, zipped (use the email link at http://www.crgreen.com).

  Thank you for your offer, but I’m already through this.
  Fortunatley I was able to recover all of my data by merging from backups an redoing the lost work.

  Just for curiosity: what would you do with that files? Just a few words, I’m really interested in.
