  Premiere lagging/hanging up on the weirdest things

  I’m making a short film in film school, and this day suddenly when I try to merge clips (a RED RAW-file with one audio track with a separete audio file) I click on merge clips, the options appear, I press ok to sync at in-points, and then it hangs up for literally 20 seconds before creating the merged clip.

  I cant do this on XX clips for this project! And the weird thing is that it has not happened before today, and I’ve been editing every day since last monday.

  Please help :/

  Embarrasing. I found that a custom metadata display I made called “Slate number” was the reason for the slow processing. I just hid it and it’s now back to normal. Sorry for the post
