  what kind of video effects are used on this shoot

  been trying to get my video to look like this for a long time (before i saw this video!)
  but mine just never look as good as this.

  ive been doing things like exporting my digital footage to VHS and then back, recording directly from a TV screen, digital effects etc, but i cant get a look like this.

  anyone know what kind of techniques they might have used? ive seen a lot of videos similar to it so there must be a specific method?
