Editing CC in PP6
The following was in an article on PP6 posted on “HDVideo Pro” as Pre NAB 2013. I have looked for but can not find anything to support this or that shows me how to actually go into the CC in PP6 and edit the CC file:
“Premiere Pro supports Closed Captioning with a workflow designed for editors. You can easily import, view, edit, and adjust positioning and layout of closed captions. When finished, you can export media with embedded closed captioning, or export closed captioning as a separate file.”
If anyone has successfully edited Close Captioning in PP6 please let me know how you went about it or point me in the right direction to get it done.

This is an upcoming feature in the next version of Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro CS6 supports attaching a closed captioning file, but you cannot yet edit one within the application. See this help article for more details: https://adobe.ly/13A4m1n

Thanks Kevin for clearing this up. When you read the article it would seem that this feature is currently available and working in this version of PP.
