Prelude and dual system audio – Kevin Monahan???
Posted by Paul Nevison on April 19, 2013 at 4:35 amHi Kevin and or others
Does the current release of Prelude support dual system audio?
So far I can’t see a way to work with clips with the second system audio merged.
Am I missing something or is this a feature coming in CS Next?
many thanks

As far as if you’ll see something in the new release of Prelude, I haven’t seen anything mentioned on any of the new feature lists.

April 19, 2013 at 9:41 pmI believe in Prelude Next, you will be able to ingest audio only clips, but no dual system synching to my knowledge will be included. However, you will be able to use audio waveforms for dual system workflows for multi-camera editing, merge clips, and synching clips with audio. You can also ingest into bins for easy synching in Premiere Pro.

October 30, 2013 at 5:23 pmThis might be old, but I’m just getting into CC and working with Prelude for first time.
I have pluraleyes for FCP. I sync in FCP and export H264 synced files and then put those into Prelude.
Thank you!

December 9, 2013 at 2:49 amI’m trying to sync audio and 5d footage in Premiere, and export so I can work with the footage in Prelude. Any suggestions on the best export settings to maintain top image quality. I plan on bringing the footage back into Premiere to edit. Thanks!
