Glitching in Render?
I’m fairly familiar with Premiere, but I’m stumped as to why I’m having a glitch appear for a single frame of my render (both in preview and output). When I view the source clip, it doesn’t show any issues whatsoever, yet when I render the work area, there it is. I’ve deleted the render files and tried again, hoping it was just an error, but the same exact glitch appears in the same spot.
Here’s a screen shot of the problem frame
The project and source are:
1920×1080 Progressive Canon 7D capture 23.976fps
48hz freq and square pixelThe output is
1920×872 (cropped the letterbox out) Progressive, same fps, same turtles all the way down. The goal is for a Blu Ray export, so I have h264 settings, though this issue started occurring before that was chosen. There is a noise effect applied to the clip to reduce minor banding in some spots.
Is there a step I missed or something blatantly user error?
*Immediate follow up* I started disabling layers to see what was the issue, and I found it to be in the layer ABOVE the video, which is an AE render of unmatted subtitles, so I was able to just cut that frame out (since there was no subtitle at that frame anyway) but I still am confused why it appeared.
