I have a project shot with 5D, files transferred to ProRes (the ProRes Lt from Compressor) They are now in FCP7. I brought them in to FCP7 because I have the Plural Eyes plug-in for FCP and can easily get the video and audio synced. I want to export them and edit them in Premiere. This will be my first time using Premiere so I am as green as can be.

Any suggestions as to how I should export the files from FCP7 so that they work well in Premiere?

Just export out an XML from FCP. Open Premiere and import the XML file.

The bins, media, and sequences will be laid out in Premiere the same way you laid them out in FCP. Simple as that.
