Best way to replace Audio Channels in multiple sequences
I’ve been editing a project with 2-channel scratch audio for some time. We recorded 4-channel separate system sound and I would like to replace the 2-channel clips in the timeline with new 4-channel clips. I can get Pluraleyes to match the soundtracks and export the same video files with replaced 4-channel audio. However there’s no way in Premiere Pro to batch replace clips already in sequences — I can replace clips in the bin (via Modify: Audio Channels) but there’s no way to get the 4 channels into sequences unless I do every clip manually… which is impossible given how many hundreds of them there are. Any suggestions?
(Pluraleyes may have a way of doing this using its Premiere Pro connector but Pluraleyes is freezing on any export except “to audio file” or “to video file.” That’s why I’m asking in the Premiere Pro forum — I’m looking for a solution in the NLE itself).
Thanks so much for any insights!
