    Hey folks,

I am typing in the search box for my project to try and find a clip that I know has the name “Justin” on it. I type in Justin and it takes about 10 seconds for the name to actually type in. It’s as if Premier is searching for each character as it is being added. Is this normal for Premier?

I am a bit new to premier and I have been fighting a lot of crashing and issues and I am trying now to decipher what is just normal Premier operations, and what could be signs that it is my system.

    Thanks,

That’s how it works for me. Rather awful, don’t you think?

I would agree. That makes the search function very frustrating to use.
