  Audio Channel Mapping default setting

  I know that PPro used to have an ‘Audio Channel Mapping’ setting in the audio section of the Preferences. It doesn’t seem to have made it to CS6, and I can’t find any reference to it save for an Andrew Devis tutorial based on CS3 I believe. I’m aware that this can be set on a clip by clip or group of clips basis in the Project Panel, but is there anyway to set a default map?
