Can’t Export!
Help!
Just making the switch from FCP to Premiere. Put my first sequence together…and now I can’t export it!
I think I’m doing everything correctly. Selecting my sequence…File>Export>Media. Choosing my settings (just the same as the sequence settings). The sequence shows up in the preview window. I hit “Queue” and once there hit the green arrow to “Start Queue”.
It always gives me a “Failed” status with “Unknown Error”. I’ve tried multiple settings. Different codecs. Can’t figure out what’s going on!
Any ideas?

Have you tried exporting directly from Premiere Pro instead of sending the job to the queue?

Can you launch AME on it’s own?

If you can open media encoder by itself, try importing your .ppro-file and choose the sequence you want to export through the dynamic link server. Maybe specify a different disc than the one, you have tried exporting to? Sequence settings may mismatch altho it should be identical. Could have something to do with the settings. Can you provide some insight on your native material, res, framerate etc.

As suggested already, try the Export button instead of the Queue and see if that goes.
All I can think of is that there is something in the timeline that Premiere Pro doesn’t like.
