  Fireworks merging into a form

  I’m racking my brain on how to get an effect.
  How would one go about get generated fireworks to merge into a logo?
  Are there any tutorials on creating fireworks in AE? I know I can use a couple of the CC filters but I’m just not getting the effect I need.
  I don’t have Particle Illusion but I do have Apple Motion. Could i create it with a combination of the two?
  Please post any suggestions.
