  • Premiere Pro sequence to After FX?

I’m having trouble sending a sequence from Premiere Pro CS6 to After Effects 5.5 using dynamic link. Premiere Pro CS6 was installed as a stand alone application and not part of the Production Suite, is this possible?

    Nope…

have to have version parity and be installed as the suite so you get the “connector plumbing.”

if you simply want to import the whole sequence into AE you can simply

import PPro project in AE and then choose the sequence you want from the dialog…

this will translate the PPro Timeline into an AE timeline… (safe copy, your orig PPro project will be untouched)
