how do i create an endless loop in ae 6.5?

i have a 10 second comp. In the comp an e rotates 360 degrees. i render the comp and take it into powerpoint with an endless loop setting. the comp rotates with a nice fluid motion until it gets to the end of the file.

    any solutions?

    thanks

If, for example, frame 0 is the same as frame 100, the last frame of your render should be 99.

    Playback: 0,1,2,…,98,99,0,1,2, …

Otherwise you’d be showing 98,99,100,0,1,2 … and since 100 and 0 would be identical, you’d see the same frame twice, and therefore a blip.

So set the last frame of your render to the frame before the start of the next loop, whatever that frame is. Test with a RAM preview set to loop.

    Does that help?

(Consider though, that Powerpoint may not loop footage seamlessly. There may be a pause no matter how you set up the loop.)
