Question about “glowing” type of effect.
Hi, I am hoping someone can help me. I have been working on this for HOURS and I can’t figure it out.
Okay, so.
I have footage that I painted on in After Effects. I made a new solid, copy and pasted the “PAINT” effects and then set mode to “ADD” which gave it a nice little glowy effect when combined with a Fast Blur.
However, when I click the eye on the footage layer to make it invisible, the “add” glowy type of effect goes away. I have it set to paint on transparent.
I then go to my project in Adobe Premier CS5.5, I import this “paint” composition. It just looks like blurred brush tool, no glow type of effect, There is no “add” like After effects, only linear dodge (add) which does not produce the exact/or nicer effect.
Does anyone know how to get the effect? I need to overlay the paint layer, I cannot use the video in After Effects as that was imported from Adobe Premier Pro in the first place with a bunch of lost effects, color key, chroma etc..I added two photos for an example. The one with glow is the imported composition from After Effects with Video (that has no color correction)
The notrueglow.jpg photo is just the “paint” layer from After Effects on my Premier Pro corrected footage (which also contains much more edits so it’s not just as easy as re-color correcting)Can anyone give me advice on how to emulate that same glow within Adobe Premier Pro Cs5?
