Adobe Premier Just Dies!
Posted by Patrick Morrow on December 12, 2012 at 12:23 amHello,
I am a teacher who uses Premier. I have the latest version running on newer Apple machines. I have found that they just stop interacting when editing. The mouse moves but the interface is dead. Anyone experience this before?
Thanks,

December 12, 2012 at 1:26 amHmmmm, lots of things to ponder here.
What Mac are are you running and what OS is it on? How much RAM is in the machine?
Also what version of Premiere Pro are you running?
Lastly, where is your media stored?

December 12, 2012 at 3:58 amWe use standard IMac with at least 6 gigs of ram. I store on the boot drive since these machines are not networked. I am running the latest OS.
Thanks,

Very small amount of RAM and storing media on your boot drive are two big culprits to bad operation with any NLE software.
