Red Scarlet Footage in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6
I just installed Adobe Premier Pro on my Macbook, so I can edit some footage while out of town this weekend.
I will be editing footage from a Red Scarlet.
I’ve downloaded and installed:
Redcine-X Pro
and
Red Adobe CS4 Installer
But, when I try to open an existing project, I copied to the macbook, I get this error:
This project contains a sequence that could not be opened. No sequence preview preset file or codec could be associated with this sequence type.When I try to start a new project, there are no sequence presets for Red.
Am I missing something? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Uninstall CS4 RED support. Premiere Pro CS6 natively handles scarlet footage and it sounds like there may be some conflicting stuff happening.
Where did you get this project you’re opening but getting an error? Are you editing on a desktop as well? Does the desktop have a preview codec like ProRes? If so then it’s probably not available on your laptop until you install at least one Apple Pro app like Final Cut or Compressor.
If you’re missing RED sequence presets, then just hit cancel when prompted to create one when you start a new project. Import some RED footage using the Media Browser panel. Drag a piece of RED footage onto the New Sequence icon and it will create a sequence that conforms to your footage.
