  randomize layer order script?

  hi,

  i am looking for a script that would be capable of randomizing the layer order of a huge pile of sequenced layers in a composition. has anyone ever come acros anything similar or has a suggestion where to look for it?

  help very much appreciated since lining them up by hand is not an option 😉

  If they’re sequenced and you re-order them, won’t that mess things up? Do you also need to resequence them?

  thanks for your reply.
  yes, that s the idea. i want to mess up the order.
  and no, don t need to reorder them.

  i ve checked out the solution discussed in the other forum using a null object and expressions. but since i d have to apply an expression to each of the layers it is not really an option (there are just to many layers).
