It can’t be done without the Zaxwerks Invigorator plugin, and even then I’m not sure if Invig renders wireframes (edges only) in that way. Maybe it does …
Yes, I was a little uncomfortable when I saw the new AE logo animation on the Adobe site. I found it a little misleading when many AE users nowadays expect AE to do 3D. Maybe the Macromedia boys wrote the marketing brief …
… but that’s just my opinion. 🙂

As I watch the animation again, yes, I believe the Zaxwerks Invigorator plugin can render wireframes like that. (I thought it was just edges) And since a lot of users own the Invig plugin, it’s not as much of a big deal as i thought.
But you need the plugin. 🙂
