  • Exporting MXF with 8 channels of Mapped stereo/mono audio

    Hi all,

I’m in premiere finishing of an edit and the client wants an MXF delivery with the following audio mapping

I’m guessing if I export to an MXF with 8 Channels of audio it will just use my audio tracks chronologically, so if I get the in the right tracks I should be all good.

My question is how do I get my stereo audio clips (which are in one track) to be Stereo left & Stereo right over two tracks, 3&4 for example. I swear FCP used to do this on default . and the delivery spec specifies not to duplicate the same audio and to multiple tracks so I can’t really copy then pan left/right.

Is there an easier way to do this, and tell premiere to split stereo tracks to two tracks like FCP used to?

    thanks

    Luke
