So. Moved to PPro about a month ago from FCP 7. Had to update the BlackMagic card we had for Prem. No problem. First job in Prem and I am having a ton of problems with the audio in it, when it decides to work. I imported the offline from FCP via XML. Whenever I have the XML timeline open the audio doesn’t seem to work. When it’s closed it works. Not ideal that. Flicking across timelines (I already had a timeline setup with pre-cut B-Roll) the audio drops completely when I go back to the Online. Or it has this weird static noise. It really feels like a “roll-a-six-to-start” situation as to whether its going to work. On a side note the audio we had synced in FCP doesn’t seem to match now its in PPro. If anyone has any tips / solutions on how to fix these problems I would be very grateful. Spec is below:

    Mac Pro. v.10.6.8

    2 x 2.4 Ghz quad-Core Intel Xeon

    24 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 Memory

    BlackMagic Decklink Studio 2

    Cheers
