Adobe Premiere Pro showing two Separate MTS files as same
Hope someone can help me. I have two files 0018.mts and 0019.mts shot with a Panasonic AG-AF100. I did copy all file structure etc. to a hard drive. I had imported both files into Premiere and I did use the speech analyzer which worked fine on the first file. Now, however, the second file (0019) appears as the same video as the 0018 file. If I look at the files in windows they are different sizes and I can play the second file with VLC media player and it is correct. I suspect this is some kind of corruption in the meta file. Has anyone experienced and do you know a fix? I still have the original files on the SD card and I even tried copying them again to a separate directory but am having the same problem. Is there something in Premiere cache or files still confusing the files? Help.

Is it a file that came from a camera that perhaps involves clip spanning.
To check, use the Media Browser in Premiere Pro and navigate to the folder where the media exists. Import it and see if the problems persist.
Other than that, trash your prefs and see if that will help you with the specific files that are troubling you.

Thanks. Not sure what did cause this but I just blew up everything and recopied from original card. All is well now. Thanks for your help.
