    Does the resolution setting in the monitor window effect the final render if it is only set to half or is this just for speeding up the preview? I know the quality setting needs to be set to best before rendering but I wasn’t sure about the monitor resolution setting.

    It doesn’t affect render enless the output setting are set to use lower res. I usually always set it to “best”. And yes it is for faster previewing.

    Thanks for the reply Andrew. I just got through viewing your Serious Effects and Compositing DVD. Great job! I learned alot. Now I just have to give them a try. Thanks
