Like most of you I am having a terrible time with the audio in ae7. What I am trying to do is use only the left channel of audio, I have tried the stero mixer effect and pan the channel I want, all I get is a panned stero(stero I mean combined) track instead of only the right or the left channels. Anyone have any work arounds?
    Thanks
    Kevin

if you have QT pro, you can try to open the file, go to the properties select your sound track and disable the track you dont want to hear.

Thanks rendernyc, that did the trick. I really don’t get the audio in AE.
