  cant open previous project

  I am a fcp editor who last month cut a multicam project in PPcs6. The client sat on the job and
  finally came back with some changes…only problem is I cannot open the last project update I worked
  on or any of the previous 7 versions for that matter. I can only open the first 5 but that was to
  early to help. I am running os 10.6.8 and keep getting the error sequence cant be opened. I can’t seem to find a easy fix on any forum. What is interesting is the project will open in after effects. I was really considering editing more projects in PP but this is scary…Adobe has a major problem here…going to stick to FCP7 until I hear of a fix…In the mean time anyone have a easy fix?

  Open a new project in Premiere. In your media bin right click and select import. Import the corrupted Premiere Pro Project. This works more often than not, especially if you’re having no issues opening it in AE.

  Angelo thank you…you are the man! The project would not import but all the sequences and
  associated media files did! I am still leery of working in PP until this bug is fixed. Thanks again
  for coming up with an easy work around!
