    Hi.

    I’m a little concerned about the skin tones that I’m getting from my DSLR.
    I shoot with the CineStyle colour profile then use the CineStyle S Curve LUT to get the colour and contrast back.

    My problem is that the skin tones don’t show much colour when I look at the Vectorscope. This seems to happen a lot despite ensuring I white balance and light as well as I can.

    Here’s an example, basically I’m asking if the below image is an “acceptable” skin tone for a natural look?

    Here’s the image with the Garbage Matte applied:

    And here it is without the garbage Matte:

    He’s a fair skinned guy and your isolated skin tone screen
    shot is aligning very closely with the skin tone line on the scope.

    I don’t see a problem here.

    That’s great, that’s all I needed to hear. I was just a little concerned how little colour it seems to be displaying, but as you say he’s fair skinned so to be expected. Just double checking to be sure.
