  Static in Audio

  Hello –

  I created a 20 second video in AE, imported to Premiere Pro (CS4) as usual for audio and final export.

  Here’s the problem. I made the video on a 2010 iMac, and it plays beautifully. However, when I play the video in my NEW 2012 iMac, the soundtrack has static.

  Info:
  – Both iMacs run the latest version of OSX Lion.
  – The video parameters are: QT .mov, H.264, AAC @ 48k, 80% quality, 1024×768, data rate about 12k

  I’m assuming there is a codec issue here, maybe with QT or with the newer iMac?

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Try cleaning the Media Cache from Preferences.
  Then restarting PPro.
  Let the audio conform finish in the bottom right before starting to work with the project/files
