Unable to export or render effects with titles and black video
I’ve been experiencing machine killing kernal panics ever since I upgraded to CS6. I have been troubleshooting for about a week and I thought I had narrowed it down to exporting a seq. with Dynamic Linked media. Unfortunately that is not the case.
First off I have been able to successfully export video from PrP via ME inb CS6. But the problems I am running into are on a project that I have migrated from CS5.5
I have stripped the seq. of everything but the lowest common denominators: text and video generators generated in PrP. I’ve deleted the unused tracks and moved the clips to the start of the seq.
These title and matte clips have a variety of motion and opacity filters applied. no real heavy lifting, just basic stuff. the timeline is 23.98p at 1920×1080 and 1878 frames long. see pic.

when I go to render it starts the render process and hangs at 0% for a few min then I get a dialog box that says unable to perform render ” unknown error” I would take a screen shot but at this point the entire computer is locked up and if the grey “restart your computer/kernal panic” screen does not appear, the computer just hangs, clock doesn’t move, no mouse keyboard ect. and I have to do a cold reboot.
I know that this is not a bug with PrP CS6 because many folks have been using it in this same manner, so my thought turn towards some settings on my CPU. Has anyone experienced this behavior or have any good suggestions?
