After spending over 10 hours downloading and re-downloading the CS6 trial I end up with the Download assistant “extracting the file” forever and a “warning box” that says:
“The following disk images couldn’t be opened, image- ProductionPermium_CS6_LS7.dmg, Reason- error -4960”

I tried re-starting the system extensions disabled but still could not open the disk image, through the download assistant or by just trying to open the disk image.

I have CS5.5 installed as well as FCP7

Anyone else here experience this or can provide some external links to troubleshoot this issue?

    thanks

Is the image file on your internal hard drive or a San?

No clue then. Sorry. In the past I’ve had issued with disk images stored on network drives or Xsan. But not internal. Maybe the download got corrupted? Can you re download the disk image?
