  Premiere Pro CS5 stalls when I open Dialogue boxes

  If I exit Premiere pro, by minimising the window, or opening a dialogue box, such as saving or Magic Bullets, the program freezes for a about ten to 15 seconds when I return. This has only started recently, and I am currently trying to colour an edit with magic bullets looks, and every time I sort a shot, I have to wait for Premiere to fire up, which is getting extremely tedious. If I click on anything, I get the old windows doozy at the top of the screen telling me that Premiere is not responding.
  Anyone have any ideas where I am going wrong?
