    Hey all –

I’m looking for some thoughts from Adobe reps regarding how we might use Prelude in a project that relies heavily on dual-system sound. Often, I will have hundreds of video clips from an “event” that I filmed in production for a documentary with one or two cameras. However, I would like to sync them with the production sound (usually one long track) FIRST, and then log them after I have the sound synced.

After playing around with Prelude, it doesn’t appear that there’s any acknowledgement that many people work in this way. Do any Adobe reps have thoughts on this, and how verite-style documentary editors like myself can leverage Prelude?

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Anyone? I’m just started using CS6. I just did all my metadata logging in prelude, but now I’m going to have to loose the advantages as I sync external audio. Thoughts? It would be great to be able to sync external audio in prelude to create merged clips before getting to premiere. would make premiere workflow much simpler if audio could be combined before editing.
    Thanks!
