  • Can’t export one hour od Full HD

Posted by Tilen Perko on February 25, 2012 at 12:03 pm

    Hello,
my brother filmed 10 hours of full hd with GoPro, then we edited it to lenght of 1 hour. Then I tried to export this movie in full hd and also in 1280*720 and it exporter only one minute then messaged an error. I tried almost all combinations for export, played with quality and stuff, and still the result is only one minute or less.

My graphics card is Nvidia 9800 GT and Premiere is CS4.
    Any suggestions.

Ah yes, the wonderful “Unknown error”

    Try:
    1) Restart the computer.

    1) get rid of the unusual characters in the file name, just use A-Z 0-9, (you have a couple spaces an a “Č”)

    2) Try rendering just part of the sequence.

    3) try rendering another project.

    4) get rid of any really large images in the sequence. (you can delete them completely and if that fixes it then you can put

    5) Copy the entire contents of your finished sequence to a new project. (this may not copy everything, so check your project carefully afterwards. (CS3 didn’t copy transitions, CS5 does. I skipped CS4 so I dont know what it does.))

    6) Try a reinstall of the whole program.

These are just general troubleshooting tips… Anyone else feel free to chime in. (Especially if you’ve edited GoPro footage)
