  uploading native resolution hd video

  I have uploaded a couple of videos at full 1280×720 f4v. They play nicely, and as predicted skew the whole layout of the site on a laptop sized monitor.

  I tried embedding a video in a blog post but reducing the display size crops the video and then when you hit enlarge, the player controls get carried away.

  I assume the answer will be “reduce the dimensions of my uploads” but I thought I’d run this by you all.
