    Hi,

Every time I try to move the camera in 3D space when there’s text in the comp, the text pixelates, jitters
and blurs during the camera move. It’s not as noticable on my display as it is on my NTSC monitor.
I’ve tried rendering it with motion blur, lower fields first, different codecs, etc. I’m going to be incorporating these effects into an 8 bit uncompressed FCP timeline.

I’m still using AE 5.5. Other random thoughts: The text isn’t too small, either (about 18-22pt). It happens with text generated in AE and Photoshop. Occasionally, everything strobes when the camera tracks in and out. It doesn’t happen so much on x,y moves, mainly on z moves. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!!

    Thanks!

    Hi,

This may not be the answer, but it might be worth a try… Add a median filter to your text and set it to a really low setting like 1.

I have found that this helps clean up aliasing in high resolution images and it also might help in text with sharply defined edges.

    Hope this helps,

    Lars
