  Professional Video boards and CS5.0

  A. Has anyone been able to work with a Matrox MXO2 Rack in an SDI broadcast environment? My $10.000 PC machines keep crashing; frankly I’m almost convinced this is worthless material. I can’t open two Adobe progerams at a time. CS 5.5 does not seem to be an improvement over CS 5.5 when it comes to using an MXO2; as long as I can’t prove that I won’t get an upgrade here.

  B. Has anyone been able to run another pro video board in an SDI broadcast environment while using multiple Adobe programs?

  Hi Geoff,

  Although I wouldn’t say we are in a broadcast environment, all of our routing is SDI. In our case, we are using both AJA, and Blackmagic hardware, but if you want solid, go for AJA.

  We routinely run both After Effects and premiere at the same time, but are you instead referring to networked hardware running of the same project?
