I am currently in the testing phase of a newly purchased camera that, in addition to recording 1920 x 1080 60p at 36 Mbps, can record 4k(3840 x 2160)files at 60 fps. Although, at this setting, it will fill up the internal buffer after 2.5 seconds, bringing these files into a Premiere CS5 4K timeline produces some amazing video when slowed down. In the action sports project I am currently working on, producing 5 second super slomo clips is a major priority. Using this method, I am also able to zoom into the 4K timeline for output to regular 1920 x 1080. Is there currently a way to output a 4K video file from CS5? At some point, consumer 4K displays and projectors will become affordable.
