When I started a new project my audio in the timeline shows 5 tracks as it should because that was my setting on the camera, but the “Audio Master Meters” window only shows 2 tracks (bars). What will my sound be like when I finally export through the Media Encoder to Encore for creating a Blue Ray disc? Stereo or 5.1?

I actually started this project earlier with “custom” settings 5.1 audio and then I did have 5 bars on the “Audio Master Meters”, but that project refused to open when I was 10 days into it for reasons nobody could understand (I wrote about this problem on the Forum). So when I started from scratch again I went with the standard (non-custom) settings lest that was what caused the problem. I would appreciate your views on this matter too.

    I have PPro 5.5.

    Thank you and best regards,
    Vasco

Start a new sequence and when the settings dialogue comes up click on the ‘tracks’ tab and select 5.1 as the master. Copy and paste your project over.
