Hello, I am using a 2.93 Ghz intel imac, memory 4 GB 1333 MHz and CS5. About a year ago I worked on a bunch of files for my company. THese were backed up on the server. Recently I copied them over to my hard drive. When I opened the file, it unexpectedly crashes just as it looks like the main window is going to open.

I moved the Premiere file to another folder and when I opened it, I skipped the part to link to all the artwork and video. It opened find. Now I can manually link everything to the file except the video. Whenever I attempt to link the video files, it sits for a minute and crashes. I even tried to rename the files and re- import them, but same thing.

I tried making a new file and importing the files to a new files and the video files won’t even import into a new file.

I brought all the files into FLV crunch and saved them from there and those will work but the aspect ratio gets messed up.

Anyone have any idea’s I will be a lot of work to resave all these video files, run them through FLV crunch, re-link them up and adjust there ratio.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jeff
