    How do I search/find in a SEQUENCE.

I know how to it in the Project pane, but don’t know how to find a clip that’s already on the timeline.

    Tx,

There’s no direct timeline “find” equivalent like FCP.

Weird, I know, for such a metadata rich environment.

But if you locate the master clip in the project panel, select it.

at the top of the project panel next to the basic clip info is a little triangle.

Click that and it will give you a complete usage list of that clip sorted by sequence/time (within the current project) selecting an entry from that list will navigate you exactly that position in that sequence.

That’s about as close as I think you’re gonna get.

    Alex,

Thanks for answering! Really appreciate it!

    This REALLY boggles the mind!?!?!?!

There are a great many things I find awesome about Premiere Pro, but the more I work with it,
the more I find myself having to use pathetic workarounds like this for simple and obvious tasks.

    VERY frustrating!
