  Use Adobe Media Encoder to Export your timelines?

  Just completed installations of CS 5.5 here at our facility.

  I noticed adobe media encoder will open premiere projects.

  Would this solve the problem of how it takes a very long time
  to export from premiere since it does not smart render like fcp?

  Nope, when you choose export in PrP 5.5, the interface for Adobe Media Encoder opens. You can then choose to put it in a cue using only AME OR chose to tie up PrP when exporting, which I believe gives you the added benefits of CUDA processing if you have the appropriate graphics card.

  Didn’t know AME is the export module. makes sense though.
