  mask updating

  How can I stop the screen updating while I draw multiple mask points. (Caps lock is no good)

  If you’re stymied by slow updating, you could solo the layer you’re working on, or disable the slow-rendering effects (the little f buttons), or disable the slow-rendering layer(s)…?

  Thanks for that – its the dynamic preview that I have a problem with – as I draw my mask the res changes and then I cant see exactly where it needs to go. I have turned off the fast preview setting for now , I thought there was a key to “preview” where the mask line was going before you click it into place?
