  Sound doesn’t mach video in Adobe Premiere

  Hi,

  Recently I captured some HDV minicasettes with Premiere on my computer. I imported the video file in the project and after 15 minutes the sound doesn’t mach the video anymore. It takes the sound from the beginning.

  I imported other video file and have the same problem after approximately 20 minutes. I drag the selection in timeline but the sound it still doesn’t mach the video.

  The video files and the sound work perfect with Windows Media Player.

  I did the following:

  – clean the cache in Media;
  – Copy the video file in other place, renamed it and imported in new project;
  – reboot the computer after each operation;
  – reinstall the program;

  Still the problem persisted.
  I would appreciate some help.

  Capture with the scene selection on. That will get rid of the out of sync issue.

  Thank you for the advice, but the situation is that my camcorder is not working any more and I rented one to capture 17 cassettes.

  So please if you can give me another suggestion would be wonderful. All the videos work perfect when I play them in Windows Media Player.

  Download HDV split and let this tool do the scenes splitting.
  See if that will help to get rid of the out of sync problem.
