    Hello,
I am not seeing the closed captioning in the program monitor. I’ve followed the directions on adobe website, I’ve updated Adobe cs5 and still don’t see it. Anyone have any input on this? I’m on a mac.

Do you mean CS5? Or CS5.5? What exact version number?

Have you installed the most recent updates? The Premiere Pro CS5.5 (5.5.2) update has a fix for closed caption files.

Yes. I installed the 5.5.2 update and still no captions with using a .scc file. Now the only other thing I can think of is that the sequence is a HD sequence. Will .scc files work with a hd sequence?

.scc files are for standard-definition video.

.mcc files are for high-definition video.

    See this page for details.
