Hello, over the past couple of days I have been trying to figure this out I am editing on Windows XP 32 bit with Adobe Premiere Pro CS4, I am trying to edit avi files but here is my problem, when I set up my sequence with the preset AVCHD 720p24 the files play in the time line no problem, but first off my files are 4×3 and the aspect ratio is to large for my desired files, when I switch to DV-NTSC Standard 32kHz preset the files will play in the timeline but I have no preview of it, I can hear all the audio and see the first frame of the video, also if I click on the preview window I can then see the frame the video is on, I can also scrub through the video and see a preview, now I have re-installed Premier and still have the same problem

Do I not have a video codec not installed? why can I play it in the AVCHD and not the standard 4×3?

also if this helps any I have the system set up on one drive and am editing off of another drive in the computer
