  • PPRo 5.5 still not seeing USB mic

    Hey All Im on Mac OS on CS5.5 still no luck….this is rather frustrating….as all my drivers are up to date and about every other media program I have sees this microphone including AVID! I go into Audio hardware and its just not there. ANy ideas?

    Mac(ex)pro quad 2.26ghz
    Snow Lep. 10.6.8
    CS Master Suite 5.5
    Logitech USB Desktop Mic (AK5370)

    out of curiosity…does audition see the mic?

    (that could at least get you running for the moment…)

    I’m not really sure why PPro doesn’t see it…but is it possible to record into Audition?

    we have to do it to picture, I’ve never used Audition before…is it easy to learn?

    Could be…

    In order to use Audition to work to-picture, you’d have to export the edited segment you want to voiceover. Audition will load the video file and you arm an unused audio track to record…

    If I knew why it was happening…I’d have shared it.

    I’m definitely not a Mac hardware expert, so there are others who would have better ideas of where to seek out the issue I’d guess.

    I was just trying to help you get something going to get the work done.
