I am using Calibrated Software to import Sony EX .mov files from Apple OS drives into a Dell M6600 laptop. It worked just fine the first two times in demo mode but then started giving me an error that said “corrupted file or unsupported file type”. PP is seeing the drive and its contents just fine through the browser tab. Have I missed something? I purchased and installed the licenses and it says they are fine. I am not having any trouble with these same files going into my MacBook Pro and using them in Final Cut Pro.

    Hi Ron,

Sorry for the problem – you can contact us at support [at] calibratedsoftware [dot] com and we can help you out.

If PPro is giving you that error then the problem may be that the Calibrated Software is not installed properly – thus PPro not being able to use QuickTime to open and decode the video – are you able to playback the MOV files fine in QuickTime Player on that computer?

If you email us directly we should be able to identify the issue and hopefully get you up and running fast.

    Cheers,
    Greg
