I just noticed that the beta version of Adobe Story came with my purchase of the Adobe Production Suite. I know it is pretty much brand-spanking new, but I was wondering if anyone here has used it. If so, is it any good. Are it web-sharing functions good for collaboration?

I am using it for script creation on a large project and it is as functional as I need it to be in regards to formatting and navigation. There is virtually no learning curve if you are familiar with any word processing app. I like the cloud based engine which also allows you to work offline.

The only thing that I could use that is not included with the software is sharing entire projects with a group, at the moment you can only share individual scripts within a project , and, for some reason when STORY is open my cpu fans ramp to full speed.

I also started using it and find it very useful. My only real complaint is how it saves out into a microsoft word document. It formats in kind of a funky fashion. I was using Celtx for script creation before, but have just purchased Final Draft and story will save out into that format.

Still I think it is a pretty cool app. I am curious to see what they are going to charge as a subscription starting in April. I would also like to see an entire project sharing function.
