  mario testino look

  i hope im creating this in the right space at the forum; i was looking at mario testinos video diary and really liked the “stuttering” video effect and with the imagery missing with the next/previous frame.

  Any one who can explain how to make this effect in either premiere or After effects?

  Sapphire has a freeze frame effect that will hold frames at whatever interval you want. They also used here an effect of dissolving from frame to frame. You could maybe in AE speed up a clip by say 500% and then render it or pre-comp it and then slow it back down using frame blend. Might work.
