Keyframe “drifting” – extra unwanted keyframes
I find that frequently Premiere inserts an extra unwanted keyframe to the left of the keyframe I put in, which create a slow drift when I want the footage to be stationary. Is there something I’m doing wrong or a setting to change?
For example, I have a photo that I drop on the timeline. About 2 secs in I make a keyframe that sets the photo at 50% size, then expands to 75% size 3 secs later. To my knowledge, that 1st keyframe should have the effect of holding the photo at 50% until the 2 sec mark, then expanding. But in practice, premiere often inserts another keyframe far to the left (even out of range of where the photo starts) & the photo drifts for the 1st 2 secs. It is a strange thing, but again, maybe I’m doing sthing wrong.
The poor man’s solution is to copy the keyframes at 2 secs & move to 0, but in theory I shouldn’t have to do that – right?
Thx for the help!
