FCP user trying to export a self-contained movie from HDSLR sequence for Episode encoding. Match sequence settings not working just getting black screen no audio.
Export to ProRes only works for less than 1:30 or so. A full export gives me an unknown QT file.

It can’t be this difficult can it?

Please help me see the light.

Is this on a system with FCP installed?

Pro Res encoder is only included with an install of FCP.

yes it is on a system with prores. I can export roughly 1:30 in Prores and it works. Whole timeline, no go.

Also a longtime FCP user. Match Sequence Settings doesn’t behave in PPro like it does in FCP (which can act like a super-powerful quicktime, stitching clips together without needing to re-encode, etc).

That’s a strange error — I have successfully exported PR422 video many times. Here are a few shots in the dark: Have you tried it with a different codec? Have you tried using the Media Encoder? Are you exporting to a FAT32 drive (which has a 2GB limit)? Have you tried rebooting the computer?
